Schnauzer (introduction to details)

For dogs, IQ is also divided. Of course, the classification is based on their learning ability, memory ability and mastery of some skills. Border Collie (details), a dog with high IQ, can master it quickly whether it is learning or obeying commands, but it may take longer for some dogs with relatively low intelligence. But the dog's IQ is not fixed, and it can be improved through training.

1. In the early stage of training a stupid dog, it's best to choose an indoor environment that makes it easier to feel at ease and concentrate. If you are outdoors, it's easier to get twice the result with half the effort due to the interference of other dogs or things.

2. At the beginning of training, give a single instruction or gesture to the stupid dog. For example, if you indicate the dog with a gesture, don't give the password at the same time, so as to prevent it from knowing whether to look at the hand or listen to the sound, and finally getting overwhelmed. And it's best to train it step by step at the same time and place every day.

3. For a stupid dog, if he wants to master more skills, he must not be confined to a certain environment. Take him for a walk outside, so that he can see other dogs' attitudes towards people. His competitive heart will make him unconsciously imitate them and become more confident.

4. Strengthen exercise: For dogs, a strong body is the basis for improving IQ. Exercise can make them have more energy, keep their minds awake and flexible, and make more reasonable and correct responses to what is happening in front of them, so that their brains can develop better.

5. Give him more encouragement: Even a stupid dog has self-esteem. Never punish him for his poor learning ability. Prepare more snacks that his dog likes, and give him a little reward when he behaves well.

We can't assume that they can't learn anything just because their IQ is not high. As long as we have enough patience and confidence in them, we can improve dogs' IQ through training. Moreover, trained dogs are not necessarily worse than other dogs with high IQ.
