Labrador retriever
Except instinct, all skills of any creature are not born, but learned through a little teaching. The same is true for dogs. They are not born to pick up Frisbee, go to the toilet and play dead, all of which are the result of their owners' patient training. So what are the precautions for dog training, and how can we train a dog well?
In training, you can give positive and negative emphasis, that is, reward and punishment. It's not recommended to punish dogs, especially in basic training. It's best to use positive emphasis, and give praise and encouragement whenever the dog completes the command action. If a dog fails, don't give praise. Make use of the dog's instinct. Every dog should obey in the wild, please the dog leader, let him regard you as a leader, please you, and don't use violence. Beating a dog will only keep the dog at a distance from you, while training requires close contact between people and dogs in order to establish a good relationship.
Sometimes dogs must be punished to stop some of their actions or regain their attention. When punishing, be careful and master appropriate methods. Violence is not recommended. It is often verbal reprimand or some items such as love sticks to achieve the punishment effect. For the training time, it is best not to be too long. After training for a period of time, give them a rest for a period of time, so as to achieve a better training effect.
The most important thing to pay attention to in dog training is how to reward and punish them. Reward can make them more active, while punishment should be done in a proper way, so that they will respect you rather than fear you.
