Golden Retriever (details)
Sometimes we are likely to have some ambiguity about some behaviors of dogs. Originally, they may not mean this, but they can't talk like us, so they can explain to us, which leads to some wrong ways of raising dogs. Therefore, some misunderstandings in dog breeding need to be mastered and paid attention to by every dog owner.
First, you must be hungry if you eat fast.
In fact, whether hungry or not, dogs eat very fast, which is a habit left over from the wild period. In the wild, dogs are faced with the cruel pressure of food competition, and they often don't know where the next meal will be after one meal, so they have to finish it quickly before powerful rivals snatch their food.
Second, dogs that eat more are healthy.
Many owners think that constantly feeding the dog food will make the dog grow stronger. In fact, this is a very wrong idea. In the puppy period, excessive food will make the puppy's skeleton develop too fast, which will lead to skeletal structure deformity. For adult dogs, excessive food and relative lack of exercise are the most common causes of obesity, and obesity will lead to many diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
Third, it is good to feed dogs with meat.
Some people think that feeding the best meat to a dog can make it strong. In fact, feeding dogs like this not only costs a lot, but also makes most dogs have diarrhea, resulting in indigestion, which is difficult to absorb. In order to get energy, puppies need to decompose the protein of meat, which can actually be obtained from carbohydrates.
Four, puppies can drink milk.
It is generally believed that drinking milk for puppies is beneficial to the healthy growth of puppies, and they often kindly feed some milk to newly brought-home puppies. However, I don't know that puppies should not drink milk. After drinking milk, most of them will have diarrhea and even suffer from gastrointestinal mucositis.
5. Dogs should eat bones.
Many puppies like to eat chicken bones, and their owners think that dogs chew bones for granted, but this view is just wrong. No matter the size of chicken bones, the owner can't feed them easily, because chicken bones are hard and dogs can't digest them. If the chicken bones are broken, the fragments are prismatic, which is easy to stab the gastrointestinal mucosa of puppies and cause traumatic gastroenteritis.
It can be seen that sometimes what we think is right is not the case for dogs, so we should have a deeper understanding of them and not take things for granted, otherwise the result may be harm to dogs.
