One is induction (Magnet), the other is Capture, and the other is Shaping. The induction method is fast but inaccurate, which often leads to confusion or confusion. The capture method is more accurate than the natural one, but the initial training time is long. In fact, the shaping method is to decompose the behavior or action to be trained into many similar steps, and then train them one by one with the capturing method and connect them with the coherent and similar steps.
< strong > Magnet: Snacks are used to induce the dog to produce the behavior or action expected by the trainer. Once the dog does the right thing, press the clicker and reward the dog with snacks.
< strong > Capture: Observe the dog's behavior or action in detail without using any hints such as snacks, gestures or sounds ... Once the dog has the behavior or action expected by the trainer, immediately press the clicker and reward the dog with snacks.
< strong > Shaping: Observe the dog's behavior or action in detail without using any tips such as snacks or gestures. Once the dog starts to "face" the trainer's expected behavior or action, immediately press the clicker and give a snack reward. It can also be said that the trainer's desired behavior or action is decomposed into steps, and each step is trained by capturing method, and gradually becomes the trainer's desired behavior or action.
