Pet dog
Many parents are very upset. Why can't their dogs be trained well? In fact, some unconscious dog training behaviors of parents may make dogs have a wrong understanding.
In the daily life and feeding management of dogs, they live with their owners all the time and have the most contact opportunities, which increases their attachment to their owners and is largely controlled by them. The owner's appearance (facial expressions, thoughts and emotions, etc.), actions, sounds, smells, etc. can become all kinds of stimuli for dogs, and can form all kinds of conditioned reflexes. If not handled properly, they can directly affect the training effect.
< strong > here are some examples: < /strong >
(1) Too high demands on dogs often cause setbacks in training and even damage to dogs. If the dog does something wrong unintentionally, use a threatening tone to make the dog come to him and beat him with a rope as punishment. In this way, when dogs hear the "come" password, they will not come, but run away.
(2) Mix the training password with the statement of talking with the dog. In this way, on the one hand, it is difficult for dogs to form conditioned responses to passwords; on the other hand, unnecessary language becomes a new stimulus for dogs, causing dogs' searching responses and affecting the normal steps of dogs' training according to passwords. Therefore, training must be conducted in a quiet place.
(3) In the training, we can't implement the principle of "treating dogs according to their own conditions", but use the same method and the same conditions for training, which can only make dogs perform the signal very simply.
(4) "Exceeding the limit" training. The so-called "out-of-limit" training refers to making the dog repeat the same action or the same subject for too long. In this way, the dog's nervous system will be excessively fatigued, which will not only shorten the training process, but also delay the training time, and some even cause the dog to be eliminated. This kind of situation often happens when other dog training subjects make rapid progress, while one's own dog makes slow progress, which is mostly caused by acting too hastily.
(5) Inappropriate rewards. Rewarding food, touching or "good" password can reward and strengthen the training of dogs, but unscientific use of rewards will cause the opposite effect, blurring the boundary between right and wrong. Therefore, rewards must have a clear purpose and pertinence.
