The health of dogs is the most concerned thing for parents, and the growth of dogs needs to take adequate nutrition to ensure their health. So what should we do about dogs who are picky eaters and anorexia?
Anorexia is nothing more than two situations. One is physiological anorexia, which is common in dogs during tooth change, estrus, pregnancy reaction and before labor. Generally, there are no other symptoms, but the spirit, body temperature, breathing and defecation are normal. The other is anorexia, which is the initial symptom of the disease, often accompanied by other symptoms, such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, abdominal pain, etc. If it is the second case, parents should be vigilant and take more precautions.
1. If the dog is anorexic due to physiological changes, you can ignore it or just increase the palatability of the food.
2. If the dog is overeating, eating too much food, or eating too much indigestible food, you can give the dog some digestive drugs, such as 1 ~ 2 multienzyme tablets, 0.5 ~ 1g stomach enzyme, Qingda, taking orally, and fasting for 24 ~ 36 hours.
3. If the dog is anorexic due to disease, it is necessary to give symptomatic treatment after examination. Drugs that help digestion can only play an auxiliary role.
4. Strengthen physical exercise and increase the amount of exercise of dogs. Generally, small dogs only need to prepare more toys at home, such as dog biting glue and pulling rope for their exercise. Usually, they can satisfy their exercise by teasing them to run and jump. However, large dogs must exercise outdoors, especially hounds, whose ancestors were hunting for a living. They are used to strenuous exercise and let them run at least 5km a day.
